About the Camp

History

Since 2009, Kyle Olson has returned to his hometown to hold a 'Summer Entertainment Camp' in Milwaukee, WI. During this camp, high school students have had an opportunity to dive into the entertainment world via an immersive, hands-on summer experience.

Students have been able to take their personal ideas and stories and transform them from script to screen in an impressively short amount of time. Since its inception, the camp has received constant media attention from all major news agencies. After three years of exceeding expectations in Milwaukee, the camp is looking for a larger, national platform.

Introducing.... THE NATIONAL SUMMER ENTERTAINMENT CAMP

Our Goals

Since the first day of camp, we have always found ways to raise the stakes. Now, more than ever before, we are creating some huge goals to reach our biggest audience yet.

In a nutshell, we'd like to accomplish the following....

  • Travel across the United States, offering a special week long version of our popular 'Entertainment Camp' for high school students to attend.
  • Offer this program to high school students in small towns across America for absolutely no cost.
  • Unite small town communities and families to screen films their local young artists have created.
  • Film a feature length documentary that highlights the unique styles of storytelling our country shares.
  • Connect to a nation-wide audience to follow our journey by shooting a web series and keeping a live blog during our travels.

Your Help

In order to make this dream a reality, we need your help. We are looking for sponsors to give us the support we need to make a difference across the country.

Do you know someone who is willing to give? Do you know a business that would be interested in supporting this traveling arts endeavor?

One thing is for sure: Whoever embarks on this journey with us will be a part of history. This camp has, (and will continue to), gain attention from a growing, nation-wide audience.
